Privacy policy

The short version: your files never reach us, we have no accounts, cookies or ad trackers, and we only count visits anonymously.

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Your files

The PDFs, images and documents you open are processed by code running in your browser. Their content, names and metadata are never sent to us or to anyone else; results are created on your device and saved straight to it. Closing the page clears them from memory.

When you pass files on to another tool, they are handed over through your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB) and removed as soon as the next page opens them. They never leave your device.

What we count, and how

We count visits and tool use with a small anonymous counter on our own domain — no third-party analytics. Each page view sends only:

  • the page address and language;
  • your country, as reported by our host for the connection;
  • the device type (phone, tablet or computer), worked out from the browser and then discarded;
  • the name of the site that linked to us (for example google.com — not the full address);
  • whether it is the first page opened in this browser tab.

Tool steps (adding files, running a tool, downloading, sharing, your optional 👍/👎) send the tool name, the step and a rough file count such as “2–5”. Everything is added to daily totals: no record of an individual visit is kept, and we never store IP addresses, identifiers, file names or file content.

What stays in your browser

To make the site faster to use, your browser keeps a few small items. None of them is ever sent to us:

  • your light or dark theme choice;
  • a short history note: the tools you used, how many files you processed and how much space compression saved;
  • your last choices in each tool’s options (never text you typed, passwords or files);
  • your “Not now” answer to the install offer, so we don’t ask again for 30 days;
  • a flag that lasts only while the tab is open, used to tell a first page from the next ones;
  • an offline copy of the site’s own files, so it works without internet.

Clear your history and settings with “Clear” on the home page, or remove everything by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Cookies

Warqa sets no cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else.

Other services involved

The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes technical connection data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks, under its own privacy policy, and shows us only aggregate traffic figures.

The text recognition (OCR) engine and its language data are served from this site as well, so recognizing text contacts no other service.

Your choices

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete. What is kept on your device is under your control, and blocking our counter with a content blocker does not affect any tool.

Changes to this policy

If anything here changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Any change to how files are handled would be stated here clearly before it applies.

Who runs Warqa

Warqa is built and run by RELON, an engineering house that designs and builds digital platforms, applied AI and cloud infrastructure.
